Kellys Eatery is owned by me, Kelly Ludick.


I studied at Christina Martin School of Food and Wine in 2006.
I have worked in the UK & Ireland, and within SA at renowned places such as the well- awarded, internationally recognised Singita Sabi Sands. I started there as CDP and later, got promoted to Sous Chef. The famous, local Chefs Table as Executive Sous Chef was next !


These 4 places are really what changed and cemented my career in food. I learnt how to correctly handle dietaries, to minimize food waste, and how important good quality produce is in creating delicious, good quality meals.


In 2016, I had a great opportunity to go on my own, and open a little breakfast & lunch restaurant in Ballito, which later on moved to Litchi Orchard. During COVID 2020, the Eatery unfortunately had to close, but we very swiftly moved on to catering, and haven’t looked back since!
